I swear that JRC Keith just wants to jerk my chain with his attendance photography. Sure, I can take the picture, but it’s more work for me to add myself to it when I’m the photographer. I want it to be an accurate representation of who’s at the run, and sometimes a selfie just gets repetitious. I could ask another staff member, but every so often it feels worthwhile to give scofflaws a chance to redeem themselves.
Enter store manager Keith who assures me he’ll take a real attendance photo. He knows the rule, one and done, and knows how annoyed I get with his visual antics.

Still, he’s not all bad. He redeems himself with a “real” attendance shot with the next click of the shutter. He really does know the rules; that the photo is the official record of attendance at a given run.
