I met new store-staff-member Lusato last week and took his training to the next level by inviting him to take our weekly attendance pic. The procedure is to take one picture only: One and done. This is not fine art. People being half ready or having eyes closed is irrelevant. It’s a way to monitor attendance, only.
He might have thought it was peculiar, but he understood the expectation and even gave us an old-school countdown so we’d be ready. The pic was low on comic appeal, but high on effectiveness. Lusato, you’re going to go far.

Speaking of store staff, some of us met the staff member at Original Running Company’s Ridley Park store during our 7th annual ORC Relay (09’26’S). This event connected the Jenkintown location with the former Fairmount location and the Ridley Park store in 4 roughly equal segments of 5½ miles each.
I should say, “We met Sydney, again.” When we did the run in 2024, it was her sister Sam who welcomed us after we completed our effort. Then fellow-staff Sydney and Brent also happened to be in the store that day. She’s moving to Washington state; so, Sydney you’re going to go far.
