It May Not Be Art (#227: 2023’10’18’W)

But consider the eyes of the beholder

[½ MIN READ]

Jim Variant trotting in late last week was the prompt for yet another take on photo-composited attendance pictures. If the picture is a representation of those who were there, then it should be complete.

(L-R: Jason Variant [o’Variations o‘J&J], J’Adam, Stephen, Leah, JRC owner Joe [outside], Maria, T’Adam, Jim [o’Variations o‘J&J])
A very cubist treatment of T’Adam next to a very seasonal treatment of Jim [08’09’W] in front of a very distant treatment of Joe.

The picture of him Jim from August was perfect in his positioning next to Terrapin Adam. And the slightly different angle of T’Adam’s face made for a perfect foray into cubism. It’s the kind of foray that an artist like Jason Variant could appreciate and that the fine art side of me could highlight: Perspectives on T’Adam. Perspectives on season (given the daylight illumination from the window on their left side). Perspectives on store-owner Joe.

Growlers Group Run. All that. And if you don’t get all that, don’t overthink. That’s for me to do.
