Another Noteworthy Attendance Picture (#226: 2023’10’11’W)

For your viewing enjoyment

[1½ MIN READ]

I wasn’t around for last week’s run, but 2 runners took pix as requested and sent them over to me. Then compositing them together became the source of great joy that it often is. A few considerations justified the composition effort this time. The first was that A.A.Ron arrived too late to make either photo. The second was that each photo represented a specific, distinct take on the group; one formal(er), the other informal. The third was that I’m easily amused (as usual) by the elementary graphic capabilities of MS Paint. Here are a few easter eggs to encourage you to look more closely at the final product.

(Photo credits: JRC Robert Carter, Kevin Borgen, Theresa Velykis. By #: 1, A.A.Ron; 2, [J’]Adam; 3, [T’]Adam; 4, [Train] David; 5, Grace; 6, Jason; 7, Jim; 8, Kevin; 9, Leah; 10, Stephen; 11, Tania)
Faces? Who needs to see faces?

(1) One other person aside from A.A.Ron was only in one picture. See who. (2) A.A.Ron was in the 09’27’W pic right over J’Adam’s shoulder. His new position in the inset of the final picture was a virtual perfect fit, right down to the background. J’Adam’s own pose was also nearly perfect to that from the earlier picture. (3) Leah (9) and Stephen (10) wore the most brilliantly colored shirts which lined up well next to each other across both inset and “outset.” (4) The inset conveniently filled an empty space in the outset that the sales counter framed nicely. (5) Finally, if you’re going to number the attendees, put the number right where the viewer is going to look anyway, right? Double digits served Stephen and Tania particularly well.

That’s it. Another run effort and documentation effort in the books.
