Part 1 of last week’s run began with the appearance of K2 and newbie Derm. The former has been away since 10’29’W because the latter’s work schedule has been interfering with quality time together on other nights of the week. They might have figured out how to take care of that by doing quality time running with us. Did I interfere by doing my usual GGR crew introduction for Derm (iCandybyWangC.com and elsewhere unless otherwise stated)? Not that anyone was admitting. Btw, Derm is Joe; unless JRC owner Joe is around. We addressed that confusion by introducing a trailtag, preemptively. ‘Cuz what’s difficult about using a trailtag instead of a given name? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
Part 2 of last week’s run was the Attendance picture. Store Keith was happy to take the picture and was primed to do it as he approached from my left to distract a couple of the runners. I took the liberty to ignore him just to make a big deal out of the way he can inject his personality into the picture. I would not inject my own personality like that, absolutely not. The location of the pic near the treadmill was this week’s version of a previous shot. I would have included it if I could find it. But I couldn’t. For sure I was rushing through my scan of the picture collection, but, oh well (Facebook). What’s difficult about thematic pictures and trying to feature them in reports? Nothing…

Part 3 of last week’s run was the newly dubbed SMH, AKA the Submarine/Murder Hill Route. “What’s the SMH route?” Stacey asked innocently. I explained patiently. What’s difficult about introducing a new route nickname?
Part 4 of last week’s run was the overrun at Pizza Wheel (iLovePizzaWheel.com). Our order for the Trifecta pizza revealed that the store was out of pesto sauce. Our order for the crispy potatoes revealed they were out of that, too. “Spicey Mike pizza? Oh. Okay, short rib pizza it is.” We love that PW puts up with us coming right before closing. Right when their ingredients are starting to run out for the day. What’s difficult about showing up near closing?
Part 5 ended with the food as great as usual and the service, too. Thanks, Ariana! Thanks Mackenzie! No problem.
