The JRC store staff have considerable ability and help customers well using it. That’s not to say they don’t have their quirks though, which we get to see occasionally in full expression. I point to their picture-taking judgment, in particular.
Here’s an outtake from a few years ago (Facebook Run Message): ‘You’re back?’ ‘I am, but this is a little ridiculous.’ No, it was not an accident; he laughed. Yes, he happens not to be around anymore, but that’s of his own volition. Yes, I kept it anyway for such a Cerebrun as this.
Then there’s this one from last spring (Cerebrun #262: Everyone’s a Comedian). Here’s Keith’s defense: “I know the purpose of the attendance picture, but I’m a store-sort-of guy; I’m going to feature the store.” Why even bother arguing?
Then there’s this one from Nicole last week: “I was here for the run wasn’t I?” >sigh<
