With 3 of us doing spring marathons (Me in 19: Jersey City. Aaron [Big Sur, CA] and Adelaide and me [Gettysburg] in 33.), the past run was the source of a couple of course quips.
Candace’s embraced the best of one particular Growlers Group Run community: “Think of one of us for every mile you do at the race.”
Jason’s embraced the best of one particular Growler: “Think of me the last mile.”
Of course he’s joking about that being “the worst.” ‘Why can’t I shake this guy? I gotta pick up my pace.’ I think he was joking.
