Shoshana arrived to JRC last week just as we Growlers headed out to run the Sunset 5K route (RunORC.com, iCandybyWangC.com). Oh, brother. Her arrival just after we took the attendance picture put our minds to J’Adam, who has practically made a career out of avoiding it. As far as Shoshana, anyone can be late; her arrival just stood out because they happen to be brother and sister.

As we converged on Human Robot to overrun, T’Adam mentioned that his mother would be stopping in for takeout (HumanRobotJenkintown.com). She’d messaged me earlier in the day that she wanted to celebrate his quarter-century birthday with a cake for all of us, so the clear understanding was that it would be a surprise.
Before too long she arrived and presented a red velvet cake as we broke into song. Maty Svetlana sat with us a while then excused herself to pick up her take out (Google Translate). She had ordered shrimp tacos for her and batko Steve. That had also been Adam’s order to eat in. It stood out because they happen to be mother and son (picture, Facebook).
