“Hey, Calvin, check out these leopard-skin tights! You could wear them.”
“You’re right! They’re awesome! Who couldn’t use a pair of leopard-skin running tights?”
And so the conversation went. Or some variation of it. They were on the discount rack at the running store before we took off and I really couldn’t resist.
Being of compact frame as I am, gal’s size clothing is just fine. (I wear 8W shoes.) And I figured wife could always wear them, too. They weren’t expensive and they made for a great attendance photo as the rudder bunnies expressed faux skepticism (Wikipedia). Or real. Even JRC James wondered if I really wanted them, “They’re final sale, you know.” “No problem, I can always donate them if they really don’t work.”

I couldn’t resist. But I should have. The Growlers’ skepticism was as real as Wife’s. You could feel her thinking out loud: ‘That’s still too expensive’. Well, I reckon I’ll wear them at least once when cooler weather arrives. Then, I can always donate them.
But about Stacey: Tell me that expression doesn’t say, “Suckah! Mm, so easy…”
