I drove to JRC, opting against my usual run there. That kept me dry for what I secretly prayed would be a washout of the run game. The secret was out when I adamantly proclaimed to JRC Jane and JRC Keith, “I’m not running.” Surely the Growlers who showed up could be convinced to go to Human Robot, instead? Then Eric’S arrived; having done his own home run. And then Adelaide and Train Dave followed by J’Adam. And this game official got roundly overruled. So we ran.
It wasn’t so bad after all. I didn’t get car splashed at the corner like Adelaide or shoe soaked in a puddle like Aaron. And the hot-water soak at home overcame my initial bad attitude. We didn’t go to Human Robot, either, though. Still, another successful GGR in the books. Sorry for whining.
