Emotional, Social, Spiritual supporters (of me with CCO @ ACF), I want you to know more about the work God is allowing me to do, of course; so, here’s my latest sprint-style piece (with pic) about a recent Athletes Bible Study: A Simple, Gratifying, Ministry Moment (1½ MIN READ).
I do have a way of writing and sharing that I’ve cultivated over 8 years of writing about running in community (and before that as an academic librarian), that is all on my website, iCandybyWangC.com. It’s there because my site is like a living thing that I can organize and link literarily in all the crazy ways I tend to organize and connect cerebrally.
Substack allows me to share that writing with the variety of people who care, in a way that my website cannot; at least not without unnecessary cost. Why not just use email? It’s because that’s unavailable through an inaccessible server. And I’ve learned that there are people who value all that writing enough to want to access it.
So, apologies for making you click through to read these pieces. When you do — and at your complete leisure — you might find value in checking out some of the organization and [some of] those connections.
To God be the glory, through Jesus’ sacrifice and the Holy Spirit’s [presence].
