• Some how’s and who’s of the process •

At the beginning of June, I began the most formal, sustained training experience since I joining Coalition for Christian Outreach in February. It was intense — shaped by the ideas and experiences I brought to the process and encompassing the steep learning curve that was God’s journey for me to this role and at this stage of life (Careering).
I reserve the details for another piece so that I can express my appreciation for the 2 trainers, 2 coaches, and 7 active members of my cohort. The conviction of their calling to serve God through CCO has been encouraging and inspiring. So was their willingness to walk with me through that face-to-face training in Pittsburgh. On the side of the trainers, there was Andrew and Mike. Audrey and Mollie were our coaches. All 4 continued in those capacities for the succeeding 5 weeks of virtual training. The cohort comprised Araca, Brendan, me, Charlotte, Janson, Lina, Micah, and Nancy.
We members of the cohort will be serving students from Fresno to Boston to Orlando, and with Glenside, Pennsylvania in between (that’s me with Nancy at Arcadia University).
CCO’s mission is to transform students to transform the world. That’s the mission we’ll be joining the scores of other ministry staff members already doing. The intense is just starting. To God be the glory through Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
