The last time New Year’s Day fell on a Growlers Group Run day was in 2020. Looking back to that year at noon, 3 of us ran. Last week at 3:30 p.m. we did better by 67% when 5 of us ran.
The photo captured us at Human Robot effectively looking back at us (without Leah who had to…run) who attended the run (without me who had to…self).

Human Robot said goodbye to Herman’s at the Haus and welcomed a new food-service partner, Cantina la Martina. Since they were running, too, last week, we checked out the whole combined operation. Although we were there early for the dinner hour, the service was smooth and the Mexican-style food was appealing. A server took our order and accepted our payment immediately, so that will take a little getting used to (over Herman’s model of scanning a QR code and ordering online without a server’s involvement). No problem, we can adapt.
Looking forward to the next year, we’re seeing good things for the running and the wickedly wetting.
