When the sheriff has to leave town, a good deputy or two back at the jail are critical; to manage the inmates, so to speak. Three weeks of attendance pictures with names and run routes of choice are complete evidence that there is more than one deputy up to the task.
Deputy A.A.Ron managed the past week’s 07’10’W pic and successfully included someone whose attendance for the first complete picture was a little mis-timed. This sheriff got one picture of everyone (present and tardy) and that was it. Minimal follow-up work required. Everything a laz… efficient law enforcer could want.

Deputy Stacey took the 06’26’W picture and also included everything this officer appreciates about attendance pictures: thoroughness and a sense of humor. She even included herself in a way this officer never considered. That’s thinking outside the box. In the spirit of innovation, recording attendance, and shooting one-and-done (or there abouts), well done, Deputy. This sheriff will remember that when promotion time comes around.

The sheriff can now ride off into the sunset in peace, knowing everything is in control back in town.
