Love Run Report: 03’24’U (#253: 2024’04’17’W)

Competitive compatibility?

[<1 MIN READ]

Andregan were the club reps at Philadelphia’s Love Run on March 24. The two (AKA Andy and Megan) started running with us last year when they were training for Broad Street. When Megan sent me the pic after their finish, I promised to feature it.

If you see a well-matched pair when you look at the two of them, that’s what I thought the first time I saw both of them do a GGR together with us (versus individually so that one could mind the kiddos): One doing the urging and motivating and the other graciously accepting it as a vital part of achieving.

What you can’t see from the picture is that they finished the race hand in hand! I mean, WOTTA PAIR. On the other hand, what the report of the hand-in-hand finish overlooks is the reality that one still managed a clock finish 1 second before the other. Hmm, that kind of competitiveness certainly doesn’t belong in a relationship.
