Faith Building
Many teens have been exposed to the bible’s message of salvation through Jesus because faithful family members have shared with them. Those who have already accepted Jesus as their savior personally will hear our biblical message of growth as the way to become more mature in that. For those who haven’t, what we share from scripture helps them to see their own need for that salvation. For both, we consistently teach Romans 10:9-10 (TNT: God’s power for salvation!), the place of confessing with their lips Jesus is Lord and believing in their hearts that God raised him from the dead.
Knowledge Building
We consistently point to specific scripture passages to help young Christian believers understand the centrality of the Bible for growth.
Community Building
Understanding the importance of belonging to a church as modeled in Acts and reinforced in the New Testament letters is a hard lesson to teach. Although we have demonstrated ourselves to be willing members of the community by returning annually since 2010, we are limited by the brevity of our presence. We pray regularly for a vital multigenerational Christian life.
